Neurocritical Care
This session highlights the intensive management of life-threatening neurological emergencies, focusing heavily on status epilepticus, severe ischemic stroke, and subarachnoid hemorrhages. Topics include multimodal intracranial monitoring, targeted temperature management, cerebral edema control, and neuro-resuscitation protocols. Neurointensivists convening at Stroke 2027 will discuss real-time hemodynamic stabilization, neurogenic shock mitigation, and ethical decision-making in acute settings. Participants will master complex physiological monitoring systems, equipping them to make split-second, data-driven decisions that actively prevent secondary brain injury.
